Roy Lichtenstein’s earlier works often show young women who seem to have nothing better to do but to worry about their boyfriends. What is the matter with them? The background in this edible glass-stained window is made after a microscopic image of estrogen, the female hormone that directs the plumbing of reproductive organs and that is responsible for breast development and other sexual characteristics . But could hormones also account for the hesitant attitude these women display? “Oh Jeff, what’s eating me?”
